About Richard Tellez

Prior to making the move into the real estate business, Richard served in the US Army for 8 years.  The military took him to his first assignment starting in Frankfurt then Heidelberg, Germany.   Richard finished his final years in the Army in Washington DC.   After departing the Army, he worked with the Department of Defense for 10 years in which majority of time was spent in the Middle East with his final assignment as Deputy Project Manager in Baghdad, Iraq.  Upon returning to the United States he worked with the Department of State for 6 years in a Senior Project Management position working in domestic and overseas projects in support of the Department of State mission. 

His career path priorities changed over time with a focus on family and the stability now available without the constant travel.   Richard has made Northern Virginia his final home and the knowledge and the love of the area has helped him build strong relationships in the real estate business.  His dedication and commitment to his clients is ingrained in him from the many years of service within the Military and his many assignments in support of the US Government.
